Yarn Distraction
...or perhaps yarn seduction is a better term! Either way, we hope you enjoy our selection. Each yarn is individually hand-picked by our team at Distraction. Our goal has always been to find unique yarns of the highest quality that have a story. Many of our yarns come from producers right here in Wisconsin who raise their own animals as well as create their own yarns and designs. Some come from small, family farms elsewhere in the United States where the attention paid to raising their animals is second to none, creating luscious fibres you will want to work with again and again. We also have a wonderful selection that are produced by women in various parts of the world who are developing their own businesses, offering them a sustainable experience individually and for their families.
Our fibres are all natural and can be used for knitting, crocheting, and weaving. We also offer rovings for spinning and felting or anything else your creativity lends itself to!
May we mention our growing collection of individual patterns as well as books guaranteed to inspire? Whether a novice or an expert, we have something to entice you....
