KNITTING ON THE PATIO
Calling all fibre artists!
Distraction is opening our patio for you on the first Friday of the month. After a week of working, it's time to relax with your favorite knitting, crocheting, or other fiber project and enjoy the company of other like-minded creative people. No experience is needed: all skill levels are welcome. Bring your favorite beverage and start the weekend off right. Join us from 6 until 9 beginning in June. FRIPPERIE MARKETS
Our patio is always open, but we are excited to announce that we are planning a new once-a-month fripperie market on our patio. Weather permitting, we will be loading our patio with treasures at bargain prices. Look for occasional guest vendors too. Stop by and check out the first of these special markets on Saturday, June 9. We plan on hosting them on the second Saturdays as long as the weather holds. If you are interested in being a vendor, give us a call and we'll give you the details.

Whimsy J. Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
We are excited to introduce new artisans to our shop. Jeanne Weymouth, Whimsy J Designs, creates one-of-a-kind playful and expressive clothing. Her recycled/redesigned pieces will definitely add some fun to your wardrobe. Jeanne sews up her green and groovy fashion in her Wisconsin Rapids studio. We are delighted that she chose us as a place to feature her work in Cedarburg. CB&CO. - Roseville, Minnesota
Also new this month is jewelry designed by Kristi Evenson,CB&CO. All of Kristi's designs left us wanting more. Vintage and new bits are added to hand-hammered and distressed sterling silver and copper. No two pieces are the same - that makes choosing a little more difficult, but a lot more fun.

We have recently added a baby room at Distraction. Find hand-knit sweaters, baby cocoons, vintage baby clothes, fun clothes for kids, furniture and a variety of ideas for a one-of a kind baby gift.
We are especially pleased to announce the arrival of original ink drawings by our friend and artist Keith Huie. "gramma was a knitter" is one of the titles of his work. "Unique" might be an overused word, but in this case, it fits. Keith's work cannot help but make you smile.
